Fine art giclée print.

100% Real Cotton, Matte Finish, 340 gsm 125 lbs

The original is a charcoal drawing. This piece is meant to demonstrate that silence is not golden but death. In our society we are told to keep quiet about uncomfortable topics and emotions, we were conditioned to consider it rude or ill mannered. Simultaneously this social stigma silences the soul in times of stress and abuse. When a person finally breaks free from a traumatic life (if they do) the people around them are in disbelief as they can’t imagine everything that person had gone through because they wouldn’t let them share at the time they needed to. These people are often the ones uttering the phrase “we had no idea”. I was lucky and got out of my abusive relationship (after many attempts) alive, not all of us are so lucky.

Workshops

A set of art tools including three paint brushes, a palette knife, and a metal tool, all placed on a white surface.

Art is a powerful community builder! It serves as a space where we openly share our diverse cultures and uniquely communicate by channeling our deepest emotions into compelling visual imagery. Intentional creation holds immense value as a method for grounding ourselves during times of stress and uncertainty. When this process is practiced within a supportive community, it fosters a healing confidence that uplifts everyone involved. This is the core reason I offer specialized expressionist workshops. Additionally, I provide basic workshops designed to help participants learn about a variety of painting topics and essential techniques. These workshops are thoughtfully crafted to accommodate every skill level! Whether you can move a paintbrush with your hands, feet, or even teeth, you are warmly welcome to join any of the workshops we offer!
